About the play: Lost in the fog, a stranger seeks refuge in a nearby house only to find a man shot dead and his wife standing over him with a smoking gun. But the woman’s dazed confession is anything but convincing and the unexpected guest decides to help. Remarkably, the police clues point to a man who died two years previously but as the ghosts of a past wrong begin to emerge, a tangled web of lies reveals family secrets and chilling motives, where the real murderer turns out to be the greatest mystery of all.

Das Kulturhaus Frankfurt ist ein Privattheater in Frankfurt am Main, das sich insbesondere durch seine zeitbezogenen, gesellschaftskritischen Stücke einen Namen gemacht hat. Ursprünglich als Frankfurter Kellertheater ins Leben gerufen, ist das Kulturhaus heutzutage aufgrund der schauspielerischen Qualität seines Ensembles und der intimen Atmosphäre beliebt.
Der Theatersaal des Kulturhauses ist in einem ehemaligen Kinosaal beheimatet und bietet durch seinen variablen Bühnen- und Zuschauerraum Platz für 100 bis 150 Gäste. Die 50 Quadratmeter große Spielfläche liegt ebenerdig, wobei die Sitzreihen ansteigend aufgebaut sind. So haben alle Besucherinnen und Besucher optimale Sicht auf das Theatergeschehen. Neben dem normalen Spielbetrieb widmet sich das Kulturhaus auch dem Kindertheater, das seit 1972 Bestandteil des Konzepts ist.
Das Kulturhaus liegt in der Nähe des Frankfurter Zoos und ist bequem mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr erreichbar.
