In der Auseinandersetzung mit einem jeweils selbst gewählten Material entwickeln die Studierenden in ihrem ersten Jahr eine »Kreation« – eine Miniatur und gleichzeitig ein erstes künstlerisches Statement. Bei »PULS & PEILUNG« werden zehn dieser Arbeiten erstmalig öffentlich gezeigt, ergänzt durch zwei szenische Versuche von Studierenden des zweiten und dritten Studienjahres.
Tickets gibt es nur am Abend an der Theaterkasse und nur solange der Vorrat reicht! Die Arbeiten werden auf der Kleinen Bühne, in der Garage, im Keller und im KON-Zimmer gezeigt. Treffpunkt ist an der Theaterkasse. Die Startzeiten finden sich bei den Stückbeschreibungen.

In confrontation with a material that each student has selected for themselves, the first-year students develop a “creation” – a miniature that is simultaneously an initial artistic statement. During "PULS & PEILUNG", ten of these works will be presented in public for the first time, supplemented by two scenic experiments by students in their second and third years of the program.
Tickets are available only on the evening of the performance at the box office, and only as long as supplies last! The performances will take place on the Little Stage, in the Garage, in the Basement, and in KON-Zimmer. Meet at the box office. Start times are listed in the play descriptions.

Die Familie sitzt in der Küche – am sichersten und zugleich gefährlichsten Ort. Jemand schärft ein Messer, jemand packt einen Koffer, jemand tut so, als wäre nichts geschehen. Im Schrank raschelt eine Kakerlake, – doch ist das keine Metapher und kein Märchen, sondern die absurde Realität, in der wir leben. Wir kochen Abendessen und rennen zum Schutzraum, lachen über Memes, weinen über die Liste der Toten, schalten TikTok ein und sind ohne Strom.
»Karaluchy« begegnet dem Thema Krieg sowie der Angst und Verzweiflung, die ohne Ironie, Sarkasmus und Lachen nicht zu überleben ist. Denn Krieg ist nicht nur eine Tragödie, sondern auch ein grotesker Alltag. Die Kakerlake – feige, abstoßend, unzerstörbar – wird zum Symbol für Krieg, Propaganda und alles, was wir nicht sehen wollen, sich aber doch in unsere Häuser eingeschlichen hat.

The family is sitting in the kitchen, which is both the safest and, at the same time, most dangerous place. Someone is sharpening a knife, someone else is packing a suitcase and everyone is acting as if nothing were happening. A cockroach is rustling around in the cupboard – and this is neither a metaphor nor a fairytale, but instead the absurd reality that we are living in: we cook dinner and run to the shelter, laugh about memes, cry about the lists of the dead, switch on TikTok and are without electricity.
"Karaluchy" tackles the theme of war, as the fear and doubt that cannot be survived without irony, sarcasm and laughter. After all, war is not only a tragedy; it is also a grotesque everyday experience. The cockroach, cowardly, repulsive, indestructible, becomes a symbol for war, propaganda and everything that we do not want to see but has snuck into our homes all the same.
